Acrylic Paints
Acrylic artist paints are very versitile, they can be solid, bold and bright, or they can be transparent, subtle, used more like watercolor. They also dry quickly which allows for layers of color for the viewers eye to combine. The under painting can become integral to the finished work.
When I use acrylics my style tends to be looser. Brushstrokes can set mood and washes create atmosphere. I like letting the paint have a voice in the finished work.
